Today, I got a notification from a serious upcoming solar activity, but the sun was still shining, so I didn’t take it seriously. Later, while doing the dishes I’ve spotted something odd about the sunset from the kitchen window. It looked like there’s an extra light source from the north giving an additional blue shade adjacent to the reddish sunrise. It was such a strong aurora that it came through the clouds! I’ve caught the last moments of it at lake Nydala, first time at the popular aurora spot: Kinabron.
